Even where the name of the monarchical functions does not absolutely disappear, the Business Card of the king is reduced to a mere shadow. He is urged, evidently, by something in him that transcends reason; by his soul, I presume.
Here we have the germ or rudiment of a Custom, a conception Business Card to that of Themistes or judgments.
